Arizona’s Medicaid program
There are several AHCCCS programs available for children under age 19. AHCCCS Care, KidsCare, SOBRA for Children and Arizona Long Term Care are programs that aid children. Young Adult Transitional Insurance (YATI) aids young adults under the age of 21.
The Arizona Department of Economic Security/ Division of Developmental Disabilities provides needed supports to people who meet the following eligibility requirements.
The Arizona Long Term Care System (ALTCS) program is for aged (65 and over), blind, or disabled individuals who need ongoing services at a nursing facility level of care.
The Arizona Early Intervention Program, also known as AzEIP (pronounced Ay-zip), is a statewide system of supports and services for families of children, birth to 3, with disabilities or developmental delays.

The Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS)/Office for Children with Special Health Care Needs (OCSHCN) provides leadership, policy, direction, and administration to promote a system of care for children up to age 21. OCSHCN uses Title V funding to provide services to the entire population of children and youth with special health care needs (CYSHCN). Title V services include advocacy, information and referral, promoting best practices among providers, community partners and other child serving agencies through training and education.
